Mr. Ajit Thyagarajan is a networking and cybersecurity leader with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He currently works at Cisco Stealthwatch, where he focuses on network security and develops tools for analysing encrypted traffic, while leading the engineering efforts of two teams responsible for high-speed network telemetry generation, routing, and analysis. Prior to Cisco, he was the Founder and CTO of Atomic Mole, a SaaS platform for IoT detection and visibility through network traffic analysis.
Mr. Thyagarajan is the inventor of IGMPv3, a key internet protocol, and has made significant contributions to NTP and other foundational networking protocols. He also advises multiple startups and has presented at several industry conferences, including Cisco Live 2020 and ShmooCon. Mr. Thyagarajan joined the Centre for Wildlife Studies Board in 2020.
